Problem faced:

This customer is a fast-growing specialty Yogurt manufacturer faced with rising supply demands from their grocery customers who are selling their yogurt faster than it can be supplied. Step-by-step we have worked with the customer to improve their production out-put and part of that process has been partnering with them in their planned and pro-active maintenance program.

AFI Systems solution:

This system is crucial to their operations as the robot cell places the finished yogurt packs being conveyed into the cell from one direction into the shipping boxes being conveyed into the cell from the other direction.

We performed maintenance on the robot's belts and gears.
Checked the bearing lubrication.
Tested the conveying system and the scanners.
Then refreshed the system programming calibration.
