Emergency Breakdown Solution for Food & Beverage Packaging Line

Problem faced:

This large plastics processing company produces a variety of packaging for food and beverage customers. Part of the control panels in one of their injection mold production lines use an Allen Bradley 1756 ControlLogix module series, and the machine was off-line due to a failure with 2 CNB communication adapter modules. Having done business with us for numerous years, knowing we keep a lot of inventory on hand, and with tight production timelines, the customer turned to us for a solution.

In this case the most expedient solution was to provide the replacement Allen Bradley 1756-CNB communication modules out of our inventory.

A quick search through our operating system showed the location with several units on hand.
Our certified technicians closely inspected the item to ensure it was in good working order.
The communication modules were supplied to the customer as a refurbished parts and protected with our 2-year warranty.
The communication modules and the machine have been functioning perfectly ever since.
