Part of Parker's 590+ line, the 590P/0270/500/0011/UK/ARM/0/115/0 is a 4 quadrant regenerative DC thyristor drive /w/ 3ph 220...500VAC supply ±10% @ 50/60Hz, 110...120VAC ±10% auxiliary supply @ 50/60Hz and 120kW, 150HP, 270A output.

Physical Information

Standard IP20 rated panel mount, frame size 3 in standard SSD livery; 485mm x 300mm x 234mm (HxWxD) /w/ a weight of 20kg.
Rated for operating ambient temperatures between 0°C...+35°C, /w/ a maximum derating @ 55°C; derate linearly at 1%/Δ°C above maximum ambient operating temperature. 840Wmax of total losses @ full load.
If >500m (1,650ft) above sea level, derate motor power rating by 1%/Δ200m to a maximum of 2,000m (6,561ft).
Suitable for 85%max relative humidity at 40°C non-condensing. Operate in non-flammable, non-corrosive and dust-free atmosphere.

Electrical Information

Armature input current of 243A, field current of 10A and a symmetrical fault current of 10kArms.
External power semiconductor protection fuse with a 500A rating to suit input bridge @ 125000A2s should be installed to ensure proper operation of the drive.
When isolating the drive from the AC power system, please use a choke with a rating of at least 243A and an inductance of 50µHmin.

Terminal Information

5x AI (4x conf., used as speed reference setpoints and auxiliary; variously -10V...0V, 0V...+10V).
3x AQ (2x conf., used for speed feedback, total speed setpoint, and current monitoring; -10V...+10V).
5x DI (All conf., used for current clamp, ramp hold, current demand isolate, jog/take-up slack, and quench; +24VDC).

Note: Analog inputs can be reconfigured as digital inputs for up to 10x DI.

Optional Fittings

This drive is configured to use armature voltage feedback. no communications module fitted module has been installed, /w/ built-in 6901 keypad to facilitate operator interface. Drive is set up for programming in English.
